Renchi Wassim Khalil (Sam)

In 1999, Sensei Sam's path took a new turn as he ventured into the burgeoning realm of mixed martial arts (MMA), where he dedicated himself to mastering the intricacies of wrestling and striking. Despite already possessing a solid foundation in grappling and ground defense from his experience in Japanese Jiu Jitsu and MMA, it wasn't until 2010 that he officially embarked on his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey under the guidance of Pablo Santos.

Throughout his martial arts journey, Sensei Sam has not only immersed himself in training but has also tested his skills in the arena of competition. As an amateur, he has stepped into the ring three times for boxing and four times for kickboxing, showcasing his dedication, skill, and courage in pursuit of excellence in the combat arts.

Today, Sensei Sam Khalil stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication in the martial arts world. With a formidable martial arts resume under his belt, he holds the prestigious rank of 4th-degree black belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu and wears the brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, embodying the values of discipline, respect, and continuous growth that define the true essence of a martial artist.

Sensei Robin Forest

Sensei Robin Forest embarked on his martial arts odyssey in 1992 at the age of 10, immersing himself in the world of Judo and uncovering the art of throwing without injury, a skill he deems essential for life. In 2010, his fervor for martial arts reignited as he delved into Traditional and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the mentorship of Renchi Wassim Khalil and Terry Langworth as he became co-owner of Aylmer Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai in Aylmer, Gatineau, Quebec.

Seeking a well-rounded foundation, Robin expanded his repertoire by embracing the art of Muay Thai. Through his teachings, his passion for martial arts radiates brightly, as he upholds the values of community, mutual support, and collective growth, fostering an environment where students learn techniques and come together to uplift and empower one another on their martial arts journey. Fostering martial arts and discipline, respect and cross-teaching, Sensei Robin has helped hundreds of children and adults become equipped for success in life, both on and off the mats.
